The Marrakech to Chefchaouen desert tour starts after breakfast. You will leave Marrakech toward the Dades Valley, driving through the magical High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass. You will have plenty of time to make stops along the way to enjoy the panoramic views of the road and the Berber villages.

After that, we continue to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its impressive architecture. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies and TV series, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones… After a stroll in the Kasbah, you will have free time for lunch in a local restaurant near the Kasbah.

From there, proceed to ‘The gate of the desert ‘, Ouarzazate, where we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Studios.

Afterward, continue your drive towards Dades Boumalne via the road of one thousand Kasbahs of Skoura and Rose Valley in M’gouna city.
By late afternoon, we reach Dades Valley, known for its stunning rock formations; a quick stop will be made to enjoy a panoramic view before we reach your Riad. Dinner and overnight included.

After a delicious breakfast, turn back within the valley to see the dramatic rock formations called the Monkey Fingers and lush palm groves. Then we leave Dades Valley towards Todra Gorges in Tinghir, where you will see the scenic landscapes of the old Berber villages overlooking the canyon.

Arriving at the Todra Canyon, you will follow the 300m high red cliff to experience its preferred spot. From there, we continue our trip to Tinejdad, where we will have lunch, and afterward, we will leave for the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.

Once there, prepare for an unforgettable desert experience. Our experienced Camel man will be waiting for us to discover the magical dunes of the Erg Chebbi. You will have a stop to enjoy the views, do sandboarding, and watch the stunning Sunset.

Afterward, before spending the night in an equipped desert camp, you will have a delicious dinner and a music party with friendly guys around the fire and under a starry sky.

Today, starting your day early to catch a stunning sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi is highly recommended. After enjoying a traditional breakfast at your camp, your driver will set off with you on the next leg of your journey toward Fes.

Along the way, we’ll pass through Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops for a quick visit (optional), and drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, home to lush palm groves and dramatic gorges.
Continuing into the Middle Atlas Mountains, we’ll stop in Midelt for lunch before passing Azrou, where you might spot native Barbary macaques. Our final stop before Fes is Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its distinctive European-style architecture.

We’ll arrive in Fes by late afternoon, where you will check in for an overnight stay at your hotel or riad.

We will start the sightseeing tour with a knowledgeable local guide to explore the oldest city in Morocco. The first stop will be at the Royal Palace Gate, followed by a walk to the Mellah, the historic Jewish Quarter.

Then, you’ll drive to enjoy the magical views from the Borj Sud fortress, which offers a stunning overlook of the ancient old Medina. After that, you will visit the Ceramic Village, where you will witness traditional craftsmanship in action.

Next, accompanied by the local guide, you will enjoy a walking tour through the old medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll explore the Al Attarine Madrasa, the University and Mosque of Al Quaraouiyine, which is considered the oldest existing university in the world, and the colorful Chouara Tanneries, where leather is dyed using centuries-old methods.

After a delicious breakfast at your riad, we’ll set off for the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen. Along the way, we’ll stop to explore the ancient ruins of Volubilis, an incredible UNESCO World Heritage site that offers a fascinating look into Morocco’s Roman past.

From there, we’ll drive on to Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-washed streets and dreamy vibe.
Once you’re settled into your cozy riad in the center of town, the rest of the afternoon is yours! Take your time wandering through the colorful, flower-lined alleyways, browsing the local markets, and soaking in the town’s charming atmosphere before a peaceful night’s rest.
