Program Itinerary of the 4 Days Tour Tangier to Marrakech
DAY 1: TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES [309km]
Our private 4 Days Tangier tour to Marrakech via Merzouga starts with hotel/riad or airport pick up. On the first day, we straight toward Chefchaouen ‘The Blue Pearl of Morocco’ through the Rif Mountains.
Where you will have free time to explore this enchanting little town walking through its narrow streets painted with blue color, which gives you the chance to take some beautiful pictures, visit its old Medina, and Ras el Ma ‘head of the water’ this is the point at which the fresh mountain waterfall seep its way into the town.
The lunch will be at a local restaurant in the famous square of Plaza Uta Hammam.
In the afternoon once your visit ends, we will head towards Fes while enjoying the wonderful landscapes of the north of Morocco. Arrival in Fes in the late afternoon, overnight stay at Riad/Hotel.
DAY 2: FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA DESERT [470 km]
Today after having a delicious breakfast, we will travel toward our favorite destination Merzouga Desert via the Middle Atlas Mountains, we will enjoy a nice drive through several Berber villages.
The first stop is the city of Ifrane, commonly known as ‘Morocco’s Little Switzerland’, Continue to the famous cedar forest of Azrou where we can see the monkeys. After that, we continue to the town of Midelt through the middle Atlas Mountains for a free lunchtime.
After lunch, we will head south to the beautiful Ziz Valley for a stop to admire a nice panoramic view with the scenery of the oasis, then to Erfoud known for fossils and yearly festival dates.
In the afternoon we will reach the Merzouga desert, here, you will do camel trekking to reach our Berber desert camp, the camel ride takes around 1:30h with a break on top of the dunes to watch an amazing Sunset, try the sandboarding if that’s an activity you’re interested in, take many photos, and enjoy the views…
After these beautiful moments, you will continue to the camp. After having dinner, you will listen to the traditional Berber drumming music, and spend the night under a starry sky.
DAY 3: MERZOUGA – RISSANI - TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY
Today, our Tangier desert tour 4 days starts with a delightful wake-up to catch the Sunrise from a high dune near your camp. Following a tasty breakfast, you can ride the camels or transfer by 4×4 vehicle back to Merzouga town.
Your driver/guide will accompany you to Dades Valley via Rissani. In this town, you will visit the weekly market if it’s one of the market days (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday), then drive through some small Berber villages such as Touroug, and Tinejdad until reach Tinghir where we will stop to admire its beautiful Todra Valley full of palm trees.
We continue our journey to the heart of the Todra Gorge, a famous place for rock climbers where we can walk through its high canyons. After lunch, we will travel to Dades Valley, and prepare to be amazed by the remarkable rock formations resembling ‘Monkey Fingers’. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel/riad.
DAY 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas mountain – Marrakech
Since it is going to be a long day, immediately After breakfast we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, way .of course there will be breaks during the way. It’s a way of thousand of Kasbahs, providing numerous photo opportunities. We’ll visit Roses valley and Skoura village.
Then head to Ouarzazate, to the so-called “the Hollywood of Africa”. Lunch at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After touring this UNESCO World Heritage site, we will continue the way through the majestic Tizi nTichka pass. In fact, it reaches an altitude of 2260m, over the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop to enjoy the impressive views of the hight atlass. We will arrive in Marrakech late afternoon. ends of our services.
