Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley [353 km]
Begin your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga with an 08:30 am from your Riad in Marrakech. As we leave Marrakech, we will head towards the Dades Gorge, we pass through Tizi-n-Tishka where we stop several times to enjoy the mountain views until we reach the high point of 2,260 meters above sea level. We will make stops to see some small Berber villages along the way.
We will also stop to explore the magnificent Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its impressive architecture. Many famous movies were filmed here, like ”Kingdom of Heaven”, ”Babel”, ”Prince of Persia”, and ”Game of Thrones”. You will have plenty of time to explore this historic Kasbah and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
From there, proceed to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit the Taourirt Kasbah, explore film studios, and learn about the movie productions that have taken place here.
Afterward, continue your drive toward the Dades Valley, passing through the ”Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” and the Valley of Roses in Kalaat M’Gouna, when we reach Dades Valley in the afternoon, we will take you to enjoy its stunning rock formations and make your way to your accommodation in the Dades Gorges area. Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga [275 km]

Nearby, there is a 300-meter-high canyon known as ‘Toudgha Gorge’ where towering cliffs rise on either side, you will walk beneath this deep canyon before continuing to the Merzouga desert.
You reach Merzouga in the afternoon, where you will find your camels waiting for a Sahara trip through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. During this camel trek, you will stop on a high dune to watch a breathtaking Sunset over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Afterward, you will continue riding camels to the desert camp in the middle of the desert, one of the most beautiful places, you will have free time to relax and enjoy and receive a warm welcome with a cup of mint tea. Following a traditional dinner, you can sit around a campfire, enjoy the drums, and share stories with the Berber friends under the starry night sky.
Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Daraa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech: [580 km]
Today, you will wake up early to witness the spectacle of a desert Sunrise from the nearest high dune to the camp. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will begin your return journey to Marrakech, you will take a different route along the stunning Draa River, which happens to be the longest river in Morocco, stretching 1100 kilometers.
Feel free to ask your driver/guide to make stops whenever you desire. Lunchtime will be in Ouarzazate, then Continue your journey towards Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains. Finally, we will drop you off at your accommodation, where our Marrakech desert tour will end.
